Happy New You.

Bagel is just learning to say "Happy New Year" instead she said "Happy New You!" as many times as I tried to correct her. I sat back and thought about what she was saying. And realized that it will be a year for a Happy New You.

To me.

I have plans, as you see on my daily blog of Spaghetti and Bagels, I have a lot of goals for 2009. And two of those are specific to this blog. I know having 3 blogs now is a bit much. But for me I need to separate my everyday, to my crazy organizing journey, over at "Where do I begin" blog, and now my new me.

By new me I mean a healthier me. 28 lbs lighter. More toned, and back to the girl I once knew.

I miss the energy I had, and most of all I miss just grabbing anything from my closet and wearing it. This day to day of freak out over what to wear is just depressing.

So instead of embracing my overweight self with ice cream, chocolate, macaroni and cheese, and dumplings. I will embrace a new me, and work towards getting back the old me.

The 107 lb me. Sounds insane right? With a 2 1/2 year old and an 8 month old? With two dogs, two cats and a Stampin' Up! business to run?

Well other people do it. And they do it well. They say it takes 28 days to form a habit.

I started today. I got up 40 minutes earlier. 6:45 am. I stretched out, and I did 15 minutes of glut work outs in my front living room. (now known as the toy room/my work out room)

I drank my coffee, checked into Sparkpeople, weighing in, measuring myself, and logging my work out. I checked my menu for today.

And even though I said I wouldn't start my "new me eating plan" until January 12th after my girls weekend, I decided what was the point of getting up and working out for 12 days if I was just going to eat crap?

So I first thought that I would put off my work out and early wake up call to the 12th too. But wait that is 12 less day this year that I would be working towards my goal? I am to motivated to slow down now.

So here I go, off on my New You 2009!
